It's a SXSW final Sunday tradition to hold a tribute night to close out the festivities. This year, Paul Minor organized the Woodstock theme with a full force of local acts to commemorate the 40th anniversary of the festival. The evening featured Tommy Shannon, of Double Trouble, who actually played at Woodstock in 1969, with Johnny Winter. Amazing performances throughout the night. It was a great way to end a great SXSW week.

I started my day with a film, Rip: A Remix Manifesto. It's a fantastic documentary about intellectual property and remixing digital content. I will definitely be talking about in class. Then, had planned to visit Rachael Ray party, but that's one popular gal. See the crowd and line to get in. I asked one guy near the front how long he had been waiting, and he said 2 1/2 hours. Wow!
